Cap- 1) This look is a black banana like piece of material.

Shirt-1) White velvet poet shirt. Purchased on E-bay, a great way to purchase items at a good price.

Vest- 1)This one we made. We purchased a nice material in the furniture covering department, this was cheaper than buying the yardage in normal fabric. We simply took an old t-shirt, and cut it out to look how we wanted, then used that as the pattern, allowing 1/2 inch seam allowance.

Pants- 1, 2, & 3)These we made using pattern #8463 Simplicity. These were very easy to make with the pattern. We did try to make them with out a pattern, and it is much easier to just buy the pattern. We used a linnen like material, it was easy to work with and fun. we put elastic in these and a draw string in the legs and waist. I have made these in different colors for my lord and the pattern is really just too easy. Sewing small patches on the pants gives them that worn look.

Belt- 1,2, &3)This is something we tried to get away with just any belt , however, with the weight of the sword, a good belt is necessary. We purchased this one at the Festival. They will cut them to size for you, but remember, you want it to hang.

Treasures?? - All those wonderful things that go on the belt. There is the pouch, remember however, you will be getting in and out of this, think function with fashion. Jewelry- The more the merrier!! Broaches, Rings.....all wonderful!

Bracers1)- These we found on E-bay. They are black with gray dragons, soft leather. They look very good with the poet shirt and completes the outfit.

The Cloak- This we made with pattern #5794 Simplicity. This is good for both men and women. This is, a labor of love, and very time consuming. You will spend quite a bit on the cloak, be it made or purchased. On cool days, is wonderful to have.
